Amarula competition - Taste of Cape Town

Amarula in conjunction with Cape Town Tourism launched a competition for venues around the Cape
to design a unique cocktail using Amarula. The Bartenders Workshop was given the challenge of
tasting each one of the entries and Etienne Schlechter selected the 5 finalists.
The 5 finalists namely: Zewenwacht Restaurant, Cantina Tequila ( Bellville), Tuscany Beach Restaurant, Chapmans Peak Hotel and Karibu Restaurant showed off their cocktails and bartending skills at the Taste of Cape Town event. The stylish Amarula bars welcomed consumers and the cocktails were flowing! The winner of the competition will be announced shortly and the lucky barman and venue owner will each receive a fully paid for trip - joining Etienne Schlechter, the president of SABA, in Berlin at the IBA 58th annual congress were they will get to watch the worlds top bartenders competing in both the classic cocktail and flair cocktail competitions.
