Bartenders Workshop Training
2008/09/08
The Bartenders Workshop is South Africa's oldest and most experienced provider of training to the hospitality industry. Our courses are SABA approved and recognised worldwide. The over 9000 bartenders who have completed our course over the last ten years will tell you that you will gain skills, knowledge and professionalism during your course.
The first step to anyone becoming a professional bartender is knowing the products that he works with. You see to be successful you need to be a salesman and you can't sell what you don't know. We therefore place a lot of emphasis on product knowledge in all our courses.
Skills, all bartenders want to have them and flair bottles, tins and shakers. We run the national flair and classic cocktail competitions in South Africa and can certainly help you become a top flair bartender.
We offer a wide variety of training course of the highest quality and no one comes close to us in experience of training bartenders.
GFWS - DURBAN
The Good Food and Wine Show went to Durban for the first time this year and The Bartenders Workshop was there. We not only managed and staffed stands but erected them for Hunters/Burchells/Vawter/Klippies and Cola and a Tropika interactive stand.
We are very proud to announce that Burchells won a silver award for stand design. The entire show was a great success and we will definitely be back for the Johannesburg Show.

TEN BIRTHDAY
Sitting in a garage with one computer and an Opel Corsa to deliver our bar structures for events, I never dreamed how successful the bartender's workshop would be. Kurt and Myself spent many days counting the few pennies we had while trying to convince people to use our services.
Today we are a flourishing national operation who has 10 full time employees and over 200 casual staff. Ten years have passed so quickly and bartending has evolved so much. We have over the last ten years always strived to give back to bartending through organising competitions and presenting courses.
The Bartenders Workshop has evolved, courses have changed and we have moved into other avenues doing many large festivals and erecting stands at exhibitions. What ever we do we make sure that the level of service we provide is always of the highest quality. The launch of our new state of the art bars in October will mark a new era in mobile bar service in SA. The new bar units will be the most stylish ever seen and liven up any event.
Myself ,Marius and Kurt look forward to another ten years and thank all our clients who have stuck with us during the last ten.
