GOOD FOOD AND WINE SHOW:

Bartenders Workshop successfully erected and managed various stands at this years Good Food and Wine Show in Cape Town during May 2009 including Burchells, Savanna, Hunters & Vawter and our own interactive cocktail stand.A feather in the cap for us at Bartenders Workshop was that Burchells walked away with the golden pack award for the best stand of the show.

The Bartenders Workshop ran a successful interactive stand this year where more than 500 patrons had a chance to learn and make cocktails behind our state of the art bars. Our in-house mixoligists where on hand to guide them through the process and we received extremely positive review

NATIONAL COCKTAIL COMPETITION:

The 1st leg of the national cocktail competition took place at the Good Food and Wine Show over the weekend and was watched and supported by many patrons to the show. The level of competition was high and congratulations to the following winners:

ROOKIE FLAIR Winner - Pieter Oosthuizen

Bartender training and cocktail menu design for the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe
Flair bartender show at The Grand Palms hotel, Gabarone, Botswana
Flair bartender show at the Barry Hilton show, Windhoek, Namibia
Two directors attending the annual London Bar Show – making sure that we are keeping up with the trends locally and internationally
