| Events
We have been extremely busy over the last couple of months with events of all form, shape and size. Our most recent event being the RAM Festival held in Worcester where we set up over 18 meters of bar structures and served the day and night away! We successfully managed the bars at the popular Suidoosterfees. The FANZONE concept started last year and since then we have done six of them in areas ranging from Gugulethu to Bredasdorp. Other events that have been keeping us busy include: J&B Met, 20/20 Cricket final@ Newlands, Cosmo Sexy Man in conjunction with Vawter and Cocktails for Heart FM on the Sea Princess. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| 10 Year Cocktail
In celebration of ten years of training and event services to the industry the Bartenders Workshop resident mixologist, Kurt Schlechter, designed a 10 year cocktail using Van Ryn's 10 year old brandy. Ten years of successful business is a huge milestone for the Bartenders Workshop and we thought it appropriate to design a drink so all could celebrate with us. |

| The Bartenders Development Programme
Havana Club Rum once again supported bartending in South Africa by offering 16 bartenders from Galaxy nightclub the opportunity to be trained at the BTW training school. The trainees were put through an intensive five day training course which focused on educating them on cocktail bartending and improving their sales techniques. The bartenders had never been exposed to training of this kind and really enjoyed gaining new knowledge and skills. Havana is one of the biggest supporters of bartending in SA and has sponsored the National Classic Cocktail Competition for the last two years in a row. |
