The National Classic Cocktail Competition sponsored by Havana Club was hosted by The Bartenders Workshop on Saturday evening 30 June at The Bay Hotel in Camps bay.

The country's top mixologists impressed the judges with their flair and creativity but unfortunately only one finalist qualified to go to Taiwan in November.

Congratulations to Timothy Townsend who convinced the judges with his Liquid Gold cocktail creation. Guests enjoyed the stylish Cuban themed evening and joined in on drinking a few cocktails.

2007 National Flairing Competition Results

On Saturday, 23 June the annual National Flairtending Championship was held at News Cafe, Fourways. The flairtender who impressed the judges most was Travis Kuhn.
